Stuart Lethe
I have always been captivated by storytelling, ever since I was a young boy, where the power of words and stories first ignited my imagination. My journey as a writer began at an early age where my writing was writing only a mother could love. At nineteen, I published my first experimental novel, without any knowledge of the craft, a great place to learn.
Soon after, I was drawn into the world of cinema, where storytelling took on a new dimension. As a writer and director, I was fortunate to win several independent awards for the work, including Best Script and Best Short Film. But even amidst success, there was a part of me that longed to return to the pure craft of writing.
It wasn’t until my early thirties that I returned to the page, and in doing so, I rediscovered not just a passion but a piece of my soul. Writing has never been just a creative outlet for me, it just is what I’ve always been.
My work often delves into horror, drawing on themes that explore fear, transformation, and the unknown. Yet, my life belongs to God, and though my stories don’t reflect my faith directly, I dedicate everything I do to Him.
My aspiration is to one day write full-time, walking this path with my beautiful wife by my side and our baby girl soon to join us. Writing isn’t just what I do—it’s the journey I was meant to take, and I trust in God’s guidance as I continue to explore the infinite stories waiting to be told.
Thank you for being here with me!
